Swimwear of the 1920's.
The “Roaring Twenties” were full of mischief and scandal: flappers, speakeasies, and prohibition. Young men and women were always finding ways to be rebellious. One way being their swim suits; women hiked up their hemlines, and their hair do’s. Women’s swimsuits made great leaps in the 20’s; the skirted one-piece came to light with this rebellious generation, which is still common today. Men were not as drastic, but they did raise hemlines just like women! Swim trunks became shorter and skin tight; the ladies didn’t mind them showing off more skin and thigh.
